Who is responsible
ID8 Pro is the trading name of ID 8 PRO LIMITED (company number 14936498), registered in England and Wales. We are responsible for personal information you provide when contacting us. Information we receive and why
When you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, which may include your name, business contact details, correspondence and project information. We use it to respond to your enquiry, discuss or provide engineering services and maintain relevant business records. Please send only information needed for your enquiry.
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or performing a contract, where you are the contracting individual. For business contacts acting for an organisation, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to relevant enquiries and delivering services. We also process information where necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Website information and cookies
This is an informational website. It has no visitor accounts, online payment facility, file-upload facility or contact form. Email links open your chosen email application. The website pages do not include advertising pixels, analytics scripts, session recording, or code that sets cookies or stores visitor identifiers in your browser. Fonts and images are served with the website.
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser information to deliver and protect the service. Any service-level security or access cookies are separate from advertising or audience tracking. We do not use this information to build visitor profiles. We will update this notice and provide any required choices before introducing optional tracking.
Service providers and disclosure
We use Microsoft 365 for business email and OpenAI Sites, delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure, for website hosting. These providers process information as part of supplying and protecting their services. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities where necessary for our business, legal obligations or legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.
Provider processing may take place outside the United Kingdom. Information about the applicable processing locations and transfer arrangements can be requested using the contact address above. Relevant provider information is available in the Microsoft privacy statement, OpenAI privacy policy and Cloudflare privacy policy.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to answer and follow up the enquiry. Where an enquiry becomes a project, relevant correspondence becomes part of the project record. Retention then depends on contractual requirements, applicable record-keeping duties and the need to deal with complaints or legal claims. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. Hosting providers operate their own technical-log retention arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions. Contact us at the email address above and we will respond in accordance with UK data protection law.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
